Female Mattersconsiders the female form as both an individual and collective experience. Figures repeat, overlap, move forward, and shift between presence and anonymity, suggesting how identity is shaped by expectation, history, and the roles women inhabit.
Across drawing and painting, the body becomes less a portrait than a recurring form through which I consider movement, autonomy, vulnerability, and strength. The work is rooted in the female figure's persistence and presence.
