Earthscapesgrew from observing the changing character of landscape—light moving across mountains, shifting skies, distant horizons, water, and weather. I began simplifying what I saw, reducing the landscape to broad shapes, color, and atmosphere while retaining a sense of place.

These paintings mark a gradual shift from description toward abstraction, where the landscape becomes less about a specific location and more about the sensation of being within it. That movement continues to inform my current work in Conditions.
